Dance Camp 0'8!

Dance Camp 2007, Bravo team :)

I'M BACK FROM DANCE CAMP 2008! :D HAHAHAHA,HELLOOOO!
But wait! I'll start on what happened on Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Today :D

Saturday in church, first met Carissa for discipleship & it went rather well & smoothly :) After that, we decided to have some fun since we met pretty early in the morning & that there was alot of extra time.
So..... Carissa & I decided to make really crazy & spooky videos and seriously, it's kinda scary when it's in slow-mo. I screamed seeing my face in the video when she took the video.

SO SOME GIRL, UPLOADED THE NEXT 2 PICTURES INTO HER BLOG, THAT'S SOOOO TINY -.- LOL.

Played BANG! during cell :) & seriously, not even into the game for 15mins, I was killed already -.- & within 15mins, I only played twice. That's why being the sheriff is the best cause if the sheriff dies, game over!
Hahaha. So anyway, Sermon was about shame.
We can never hide our inner shame from God for sure. He knows our hearts very clearly :)
But really really THANK GOD for that sermon Pastor Chris Long shared! I didn't have any time to prepare for dance devotions, I prayed really hard that on that particular Saturday, the sermon will be something that I can share with the dancers, & yup! The sermon Pastor was preaching really spoke to me so I decided to also share it with the dancers :) PRAISE THE LORD!

SUNDAY!
Met Cheryl in the afternoon, went for costume shopping for dance camp farewell party.

Went to Bugis & we first went to this costume shop that the stairs was about at a shocking, about... 60degrees or so? It was really steep!
Tried out several costumes & I rented this leopard patterned costume which was hilarious looking with a blond wig on.

Walked around & we managed to find the #1 costume costume shop, & it was so big! I remember going there like last year with my sister & her boyf? Still as big as ever.
The funny thing that Cheryl said was, "I feel so short here." Mind you, Cheryl's tall.
After a veryyyyyyy long time of hunting for costumes for Cheryl, when she decided to rent a costume which costs $50, GST was $3.55 PLUS $80 refundable deposit! O.O

That's like $133.55 for 1 costume with no other accessories, you wouldn't believe how the costume looks like, it's very simple, but yet, with a $130, I can buy like, alot of other things?
The horrorrrr. o.o

MONDAY,DANCE CAMP DAY1!
Dance camp day! Committee members had to meet at 8am in school, though it was just a 2 days camp, everyone brought so many bags, BIG BIG BAGS that looked like we're staying for 1 week in school!
When we planned the dance camp, I kept saying why not make it a 3D2N camp, now I kinda understand why... If a 2days camp, we're already bringing so much stuff, if it's 3D2N, bring luggage ah! LOL.

Had ice-breakers first. I totally can't remember what we did, but I know that we played captains ball, jacobs ladder, some running+scissors,paper,stone game as Charice would call it, Splat aka Bang & aiyah,something like that lah, (:

Our dance workshop was Indian Dance & it's not as easy as it looks on TV & live on stage seriously. I couldn't even coordinate properly. Needs alot of muscels to pull it of because your hand has to be strong & be very disciplined in positions & all. Your feet has to be shaped in a certain way for the movement to look good.
Not easy. Go try if you don't believe me. My heels hurt really badly already on the first day of the workshop. Ms Lim's choreography normally we have to land in toe-ball-heel but this Indian dance, we land flat footed on the ground with some piank! sound. :( Painfullll.

We had games, bathe time then dinner! Which was Nasi Lemak.
TO THOSE WHO GAVE ME YOUR CHICKEN WING:
HAHAHAA WHY Y'ALL DON'T LIKE YOUR CHICKEN WINGS! IT'S SUPER NICEEEE :D
LOL.

Night activities was actually quite fun. The first few minutes was kinda scary. We were being blind folded, had to hold the shoulder of the unknown person in front of us & walk.
We're walking around the dance room around & around. We were sprayed with water, stepping on some gu-eee thing, tickled -.- HAHA, but overall, it was really fun. :) Screamed alot too.
& the music, it was really scary when this girl sang "la-la-la... la-la-la" like when you watch incredible tales those music where the little girls go la-la-la, it's so freaky.

TUESDAY, DANCE CAMP DAY2!
Did sharing, then had breakfast.
We couldn't go for dragon boating because the boats were all rented out to the public people. So all the dancers went to ECP to blade/cycle/jog/play netball/volleyball and whatever else. :)
I bladed. With Carissa, Charis, Sheree, Valerie & Andrew. Sheree, Carissa, Andrew kept falling down which was really funny.

I've never fell down from bladding in my life before, but tell you this man. Carissa made me fall down -.-
& I fell pretty badly on my back when I was on the way to Macs to get the first aid kit for Sheree. I fell right on my back, which hurt pretty badly...

OH! & 2008 DANCE CAMP T-SHIRT IS OUT & IT SAYS, "PROUD TO BE A DANCER". :)

I had a really big lump on my left foot that curve part? Where you can see if you're flat footed or not. The blades @ ECP was really horrible. My right feet has an abration from the socks & blades -.-

Went back to school, bathed, had lunch, & prepared for farewell!
Went to Heritage View, and had BBQ-ed food. I'm too tired to go into details. But the people I was with most of the time was Sumay, Carissa, Charis & Sheree. Gladys was BBQing so didn't spend much time with her though :\

I was being really crazy. I did a remake of HSM1, Fabulous song+dance. It was so funny, Sumay & Carissa couldn't stop laughing!

So, these were the people I hung out with most of my time in camp & during the BBQ :)

They're really fun & loving people to be with though they are all younger than me, but still :) I was feel very accepted by them and during the camp was one of the best times of the year because I got to know them more! I can be really crazy with them and they wouldn't mind which is awesome, :)

See Carissa, who says when you're not in my group, you wouldn't have much fun! :D You still had fun right! HAHAHA, love you :)

Not being arrogant or anything, but well, I have a feeling I'll pass but on another hand, I feel that I'll retain. I don't know, it's just mixed-up emotions. I can't wait for tmr to come, yet I don't want it to come.
