TITLE: God of Wonder.

I actually did blog yesterday,but after I click on "publish post", internet explorer said, "page cannot be displayed." & I don't know why, my post wasn't saved. So I was too lazy to retype, I went to bed. But anyway about yesterday. Hmm....

School was totally alright. I almost fell asleep during physics class. I stayed back after school to complete my art. Had art lesson from 11.15am, till 4.15pm. 5 hours, & i'm still not done with my art work! Really horrible.
I went to Dennis's house & slacked there for awhile, till 6pm. We watched a little teevee, played his PS3, yup. Other than that, was tickle fights. :P


Today's super awesome. There was such a confused change of plans between my family. But nevermind about that. I was suppose to meet Ben & Kit Sing opposite school for breakfast @ 9am. But I woke up at 8.40am. & I was soooo lazy to prepare to go to school, I slacked & changed my blogskin as you can see. Yup, it's plain, I like. :)
Mommy drove me to school. Had CCA booth today. & there was this parent, I had to talk to for 20mins. Asked alottttt of questions. But yeah,we're there to serve the people!
Went to Dover for a quick bite with Kit Sing, & Singapore's getting super warm! I really can't take it. :( So anyway,after the whole thing, I cabbed down to church.
Service was awesome as usual! & i'm so thankful that God has let open my mother's heart & allowed me to go to church like every week! Honours & Glory to Him alone. :)

So what did you learn?
Okay,today I basically learnt that Sabbath day is really really important. What's that you may ask, well Sabbath day is a day where we rest. & by resting is not meaning staying home & play computer games. It's when we worship God. Take time off the 6 days that we work/study in a week & give that 1 day to God. There are of course 4 different ways that we can honour Sabbath. Firstly, Sabbath day is a day of commemoration. It's a day to remember creations, & remember how God delivered us. Secondly, it's a day of rest. We have to rest our body, soul & also our mind. A qoute from what Leonardo Da Vinci, "Ever now & then go away, have a little relaxation for when you come back to your work, your judgement will be surer. Since you remain constantly at work, will cause you to loose the power of judgement."

One thing is that God created us in such a way that our body, needs to rest. We can't possibly work 24/7 like how God does. Well, God worked constantly for 6 days, but on the 7th day He rested. God is one thing, not against work. But He is against us having work taking away a major part of our lives (like going to church & worshipping Him). He is against us filling our lives so full of work that we don't have time for Him & His people.
Sometimes we get worried for our work, that we think like we can put church aside & God one side & depend on our own understanding to complete our work. Well, the bible says in Psalm 81:6 & it reads, "I will remove the burden from their shoulder; their hands were set free from the help basket." yeah,doesn't sound like in english form right? But Pastor made it easier for me to understand. It means, if we have any burdens on our shoulder, ask God for help, He will give only if you ask. He will take away that burden & instead, put it on His back & help you. :) Really awesome. For 1 thing's for sure, God will honour us, if we honour Him.

Thirdly, Sabbath day is a day of consecretion. Our survival does not depend upon how "physically" strong we are but how strong we are inwardly. Yup!
Lastly, it's a day of commitment. When we go to church,do we just put ourselves in front of God & tell Him that, yeah we're there to worship Him, fullstop.? Do we even put our full heart & soul in every song that we sing to Him & mean it in every word said? Or are we just singing it with no meaning? Well, trusting God & not ourselves to provide for our own needs is very important. That's prolly all I gotta say. But I really hope for those who backslided from church that y'know God wants us to rest. & if it's going to church again,then go ahead. We have so many of our other days to go out with friends & etc, but God is just asking for that 1 day for Him.
Will you give it to Him? Just 1 day in every week?

Went to rooftop for dinner & i'm so happy that mommy didn't call/miss call/sms me to bug me to go home, or even nag at me in any way! :D Thank God, she really opened up her mind & heart to let me go to church no matter how late it ends. I think she knows that I am in good hands especially in the Lord.
& Andy's coming back from Australia tmr! Oh well, I can't go to the airport cause it's in the night & I have school on monday. :(
Argh, I need to really do my art work & maths homework tmr!
I just finished eating my macdonalds, I'm really sleepy now. NIGHTS!
